When Life Gives You Lemons

Forget the lemonade! The universe has enough derelict lemonade stands! *Tosses beverage over shoulder.*
No, no, no, establish an entirely new delectable lemony lineup, like the layers of a tantalizing lemon mille-feuille that tingles every last taste bud with pleasurable little shivers. ASMR for the tongue.
Better yet! Transmute those lemons into melons as an affront to karma's mockery and smear its pigment across the maker of your misery in boisterous remonstrance. To make solemn your inmost flame karma shall not endeavor in this moment! Madness to even try! Madness! Ha!
I flash you my loudest smile, and I laugh. I laugh because I made those solemn lemons mine, and I made you my canvas.

Summary of Notable Accomplishments:
Seeing as this is the official 100th post, I decided to have a little poetic fun, inspired by my Obsidian Vault Wipe and how that experience actually encouraged me to make my workspace mine. While it was functional before the wipe, I felt neutral about the aesthetic. I had ITS as my main theme for a while, but trying to get the style I wanted was too much of a pain even with the Style Settings plug-in, so I made AnuPpuccin my main theme and integrated ITS Snippets for some of the elements I wanted such as some of the alternative checklist boxes.
I never had any of the kits growing up, but my workspace reminds me of scratch art, and it absolutely delights me. Professional looking backdrop with the deep navy and plum colors and stark card borders around the tabs, etc., then pop with color everywhere else, like wearing a suit with a rainbow tie and/or pocket square.
It took me a few days to get it how I wanted, and I had to fiddle with some of the CSS elements between the AnuPpuccin checkboxes and ITS checkboxes, since they weren't playing nice with each other in the Tasks plugin. That was an interesting experiment, since I don't know any CSS. The elements were pretty straightforward though, and it wasn't anything more strenuous than "delete an element here" and "change an element there."
Playing with Obsidian Plug-ins (probably a future post)
Tasks: this wonderful plug-in has allowed me to create an entire To-Do checklist ecosystem spread across different projects to replace the DataviewJavascript (DVJS) I'd been using; same with Open Threads (curiosities to explore, questions left unanswered). I haven't done so yet, but I can apply this same ecosystem to my Skies Over Aefala notes.
Style Settings: The plug-in I've been using to play with the colors and my workspace layout
Iconize: Icons next to files and folders in the sidebar. You can see them in the above screenshot~ I'm still playing with these, but it's been fun
Beautitab: The plug-in that allowed me to set up new tabs as shown in the first image above with the Caleb and Essek fanart.
Soundscapes: A music player plug-in that pulls from YouTube or Local music libraries to play soundscapes/music playlists while you work. I like the idea behind it, but I struggle with creative or deep focus work when listening to music.
Day Planner: Mentioned briefly last week, but this plug-in is where I'm running my experiment to map out my ideal workflow in a day, while the physical planner represents the actual. Since it's a 7-day rotating schedule that I reset at the end of each day, I can't stay irritated at myself long-term for failing to accomplish all I wanted to do in a given day. Out of sight, out of mind~
And more!
Built With Science workouts completed:
Glutes
Upper 1
New, active recovery workout routine on Wednesdays for mobility
Started importing some of my past blogs from the site into my Vault
Started the process with Claude AI, had to go through a lot of workarounds, burned through a lot of Usage limits, decided it was probably more practical if I dedicated a few hours one day to doing it manually and then asking Claude to clean up the formatting.
