A Short Update

To keep the momentum going from the post-vacation return to normalcy, I figured I'd go ahead and write a brief overview of my accomplishments, the bulk of which I completed yesterday and today.
Teyr'loch Delter Pach
We did manage to get through the first half of the Teyr'loch Delter Pach during our vacation, and as of right now, I have a soft goal to finish editing, putting together, and possibly performing the 2nd half by the end of the month. The first half took the longest because of composing, "translating", and recording, so I'm hopeful I'll be able to finish the 2nd half much more quickly even though it does have a minor amount of translating and recording I'll need to hammer out as well. I've already done some light editing and practicing, and aside from 30 words I'll have to come up with, the translation basically wrote itself.
This was also my first opportunity to transcribe a session directly into Obsidian since porting everything over. I gotta say, forming links and relevant pages on the fly has been clutch, and it doesn't extend my transcribing time by too, too much either.
All in all, outside of the performance itself I transcribed ~8k words.
Workouts
Until yesterday, my workouts ceased, and my step count plunged drastically. Thankfully, I only gained about 1-1.5 lbs (~.5 kg) despite our splurging on sweets. What can I say? I love me some fall desserts, and this was the time to indulge.
I could feel the effect it was having on my body unfortunately, so I was happy to resume my Built With Science program both yesterday and today. I lowered the weight but upped my rep count by about 5-10 reps for all of the exercises, which probably wasn't the best idea. Yesterday was fine, but today I experienced some lightheadedness and nausea, and I even took it slower than usual. Most likely I didn't drink enough water before or during, but I completed both workouts, and tomorrow I'm really gonna be feeling it.
I already feel less bloated and gross since returning to my usual meals.
Wawfuls
Outside of completing some chores we neglected during our vacation *cough*laundry*cough*, I called the vet for a refill on Salad's medication and meal planned for this next week. I hate making phone calls, so that was a win, and the other two are tasks that interfere with other things I'd prefer to direct my attention toward.
Bonus: Silksong
We completed Hollow Knight: Silksong to 100% during our vacation! My partner believes Hollow Knight was harder, but I'm of the belief that Silksong was. I'm almost sad that we're pretty much done with the game, and there's a part of me that's tempted to restart Hollow Knight just because I did enjoy both games tremendously, but there are so many other games on my back log, and time seems to have become a more precious commodity recently.
Questions for Contemplation & Discussion:
When you return to work/school/etc... from vacation, do you feel reinvigorated and ready to knock out as much as you can, or do you tend to lurch into a slow start?
For me it could go either way. Sometimes the dread of having to return to work would lead to me resisting completing anything more than the bare minimum. Other times such as this, I hit the ground running like the Road Runner racing laps around Wile E. Coyote.
